What was once a cramped storage area with wood paneling and low ceilings is now an inviting modern suite featuring a bedroom, ensuite bath, kitchentte and lounge nook. The design made the most of every inch of space.
The renovation highlights custom built-in cabinetry, integrated storage solutions, and clever use of natural light to enhance the airy feel of the sloped ceilings. The window seats provide a cozy place to read or to view nature. The compact kitchenette and spa-like bathroom add sophistication and convenience. The bathroom’s bold,black, grid, frameless glass shower doors, textured tiles, and brass fixtures contrast beautifully against soft neutral tones, creating a luxurious yet approachable atmosphere.
Throughout the project, BLOU INK prioritized space optimization, modern finishes, and intentional design details that reflect the studio’s signature balance of function and artistry. The result is a serene, self-contained space ideal for guests or private living; a true testament to how thoughtful design can redefine even the most challenging spaces.
Modern Bathroom Renovation
What began as a dated, builder-grade bathroom has been reimagined by BLOU INK into a stunning modern sanctuary defined by texture, contrast, and refined detail. The renovation replaced outdated finishes with bold, contemporary materials; from the deep textured wall tiles accented with brushed gold fixtures to the dramatic geometric wallpaper that brings an artful sophistication to the space.
The design introduces a freestanding soaking tub, positioned against a dark texutred wall that enhances both depth and serenity. The double vanity combines warm wood tones and a clean white countertop with integrated gold hardware, reflecting the perfect balance of modern elegance and organic warmth. The Hex shaped marble-look porcelain tiles underfoot bring a luxurious continuity throughout the bathroom.
To elevate both form and function, BLOU INK incorporated bespoke lighting, including pendant sconces with perforated brass shades that cast a soft, ambient glow. Every element, from the architectural tile layout to the sleek storage solutions, was curated to transform an ordinary bath into a spa-quality retreat that merges comfort, artistry, and timeless sophistication.
