THE STORY

My mission is to help you move into a space that supports your highest evolution.
Vera Blouin | Founder, Design Strategist, & Project Steward at BLOU INK
Vera Blouin believes that our environments should evolve alongside us.
A home designed for who we were five or ten years ago can quietly hold us in the past. Her philosophy is articulated in her book, The Reincarnated Room, which serves as the foundation for BLOU INK’s methodology:
“When you rebirth a room, you rebirth yourself.”
Through this lens of spatial resonance, Vera approaches design as a process of transformation, aligning the built environment with the individual who inhabits it. Each space is considered not just for its aesthetics,
but for the way it supports the next chapter of a client’s life.
BLOU INK was born from Vera’s years living and working internationally as a freelance designer across four continents, including extended professional experience in Thailand, Germany, and Chile.
This global experience cultivated a deep fluency in international standards, material culture, and the nuanced ways people inhabit space across different parts of the world.
Today, BLOU INK translates this global perspective into a highly personalized design practice serving clients in Atlanta, Dallas, and Miami. Whether guiding the evolution of an established estate in Highland Park or shaping a residence in Pinecrest, Vera operates as the project’s Design Strategist, defining the spatial vision and ensuring that the integrity of the design intent carries through every phase of development. She collaborates closely with architects, builders, and artisans to translate conceptual ideas into spaces that are both technically precise and deeply meaningful.
Clients come to BLOU INK with the realization that their home was designed for a previous chapter of their life.
Vera’s work sits at the intersection of design strategy, spatial psychology, and neurodesign,
shaping environments that evolve alongside the individual who inhabits them.
Design as an Act of Becoming
With a background in residential design, construction integration, and materials curation,
Vera brings both conceptual depth and technical precision to every project.
Her process blends:
Biophilic Integration & Lifestyle Calibration
Structural Intent & Spatial Programming
Bespoke Material Curation & Sourcing
Operational & Flow Optimization
Refined aesthetic restraint
Architectural Liaison & Project Stewardship
The result is design that feels calm, intelligent, and emotionally magnetic;
interiors that hold space for contemplation, growth, and the rhythms of real life.
A Distinct Point of View
Vera’s approach challenges conventional design thinking:
A home is not a showroom, it is a living mirror.
Luxury is not abundance, it is intentionality.
Beautiful spaces are not enough, they must feel aligned.
Design is not decoration, it is rebirth.
Her work resonates most with clients who value privacy, self-awareness,
and the quiet confidence of a curated life.

BLOU INK is intentionally selective, partnering with a limited number of clients each year to preserve the integrity of the process. Each engagement begins with a private consultation where Vera conducts a Structural & Lifestyle Diagnostic. During this high-level audit, she identifies the spatial friction points stalling your progress and outlines a Technical Design Directive to bridge the gap between your current environment and your next chapter.
"Our work begins where you realize you are ready for more, not more things, but more alignment.”
For Those Ready to Transform
Whether designing a home, reimagining an existing space, or guiding a full renovation, Vera’s work honors depth, identity, and evolution. If you feel called toward a space that reflects your next chapter, you are in the right place.
