E-DESIGN

The roots of BLOU INK started with the belief that no matter where you are in the world, you should have access to good design that incorporates sustainable elements. 

Our E-Design service offers you the help of an interior designer to achieve a
well-designed space that you will execute to completion. 

This service is best for clients that aren't sure how to get the design style they want for their kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, or any other spaces.  The E-Design service does require you to do some work to complete the design plan.

You can design in stages one room at a time.

We'll give you what you need to start implementing a well-designed space, including layout, physical material samples (when possible), paint color selection, a design concept board, materials list, 3D view of the room, and a list of suggestions to help you bring your vision to reality.​

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1 - DISCOVERY CALL

Every E-Design projects starts with a discovery call.  This is an opportunity to learn about you and your projects needs, answer any questions you might have, see if E-Design is a good fit for your project, and to find if BLOU INK is right your project needs.

STEP 2 - PURCHASE YOUR
E-DESIGN PACKAGE

We create an E-Design package specifically for your project and require full payment prior to beginning work.  Once your payment is received, a spot is secured for you on our design calendar.

STEP 3 - CLIENT HOMEWORK

This is when the fun starts.  The E-Design process is a collaborative effort between client and designer.  Within 3-5 Business days you'll receive the e-design welcome packet, which includes:

  • E-design agreement​

  • Design questionnaire to fill out to learn about budget, design style, etc.

  • Instructions on how to provide measurements of the space and photos of your space

  • Request to share inspiration images

STEP 4 - VIDEO CONSULTATION

After receiving your homework, this will be our first opportunity to discuss your project scope before we start working on the design.  We'll review wants, needs, budget etc.  We want to get as much information as possible.

STEP  5 - DESIGN

Depending on your project scope you can expect to receive your design within 2-4 weeks.  You'll receive:

  • A scaled space plan (elevations are provided with all kitchen and bath projects)

  • 3D renderings

  • Design Board

  • Description of design choices and selections

  • Physical material samples, when possible, will be shipped directly to you (US based clients only )

  • Shopping list with links to purchase all products in your design

Once you have your design plan in hand, we'll schedule one more video call to review together, give you a 3D walkthrough of the space, and make sure you don't have any final questions.

STEP 6 - REVISIONS & COMPLETION

You now have everything needed to bring your design to life!

 

Up to 14 days after you have received your final design packet we are happy to do one revision round, but the request must be made during that time frame.  Any additional changes beyond that will be billed at an hourly rate of $150/hour.

E DESIGN FEES

Our E Design Service fee starts at $3500 per room.  

Virtual Design Consultation $250 (already included when you purchase the E Design Service)  

 

 

We recommend that you have a minimum budget for furnishings of $20,000.
